Biographical Information
Bette Lount was a gentle and caring woman who was always concerned with helping others and gave of herself throughout her life. She would be pleased to know that her compassion and generosity in her lifetime will live on in a bursary fund at the University.
Bette graduated from the School of Home Economics at The University of Manitoba in 1943 and Susan, her daughter, followed in these footsteps in 1967. Due to this family connection to the area of home economics and to The University of Manitoba, Mrs. Stovel has established this fund to support students studying Human Nutritional Science.
