William Siverwright Cuthbertson and Alice Cuthbertson (nee Forbes) Scholarship
From the testamentary gift of William Siverwright Cuthbertson, a scholarship fund has been established at The University of Manitoba in the amount of $12,000. One annual scholarship initially valued at $800 (approx. 70 percent of interest) will be offered to an undergraduate student in the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences who:

(1) has achieved high academic standing (minimum 3.0 G.P.A.) in University 1 or their first year of studies in the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences (while registered for at least 80 percent of a full course-load); and,

(2) enrols full-time in their second year in the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences.

The scholarship may be split at the discretion of the selection committee.
The selection committee shall be the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences Awards Committee.
This agreement may be amended by the mutual consent of the donor (or designate) and the University of Manitoba. All such amendments shall be in writing. In the absence of the donor (or designate), and providing all reasonable efforts have been made to consult, the Board of Governors of the University of Manitoba has the right to modify the terms of this award if, because of changed conditions, it becomes necessary to do so. Such modification shall conform as closely as possible to the expressed intention of the donor in establishing the award.
