J. Ray Ingalls Bursary in Dairy
Dr. J. Ray Ingalls, a Senior Scholar in the Department of Animal Science at The University of Manitoba and a Professor of the Ruminant Production Systems - Milk course, has established a fund to support bursaries for students in the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences. A contribution has been made by the Manitoba Scholarship and Bursary Initiative. The available annual income from the fund will support an annual bursary which will be offered to a student who:

(1) has completed the third year of the Animal Systems program in the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences;

(2) has achieved a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0;

(3) is enrolled in the fourth year of Animal Systems;

(4) is registered in the course Ruminant Production Systems - Milk (currently numbered 35.453);

(5) has demonstrated financial need on the standard University of Manitoba bursary application form.

Preference in selection shall be given to students who have an interest in or experience in the dairy field.

The selection committee shall be named by the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences.
