Manitoba Egg Farmers Bursary (Degree)
A bursary is established by the Manitoba Egg Farmers to promote academic achievement of students with financial need in the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences.

One award of $1,200 will be given each year to a student who:

(1) has completed one year in the diploma program or at least two years of study in the degree program in the options of Animal Science, Food Science or Agricultural Economics;

(2) has a minimum degree grade point average of 3.0;

(3) demonstrates financial need on the standard University of Manitoba bursary application;

(4) has completed at least 80 percent of the previous year’s course requirements and is currently registered in at least 80 percent of a full course-load;

The selection committee shall be the Awards Committee of the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences.

Preference will be given to students with special interest in the egg production industry.

The bursary shall be awarded in October of each academic year.
